Teen Icon Lindsay Lohan to Be Honored in Capri at the 12th Annual Film Festival. American actress and one hit wonder pop star Lindsay Lohan is joining a remarkable lineup of international of directors and producers being honored at the 12th Annual Film Festival in Capri.
As stated on popcrunch.com, producer Mark Canton ("300," "The Spiderwick Chronicles") serves as chairman of the star-studded festival, which will take place at various locations throughout Capri, Italy, from December 27th through January 2, 2008.
Lohan, who was already considered a show-business veteran at age 10, landed the role of Alexandra "Alli" Fowler on "Another World," "where she delivered more dialog than any other 10-year-old in daytime serials" of the time. She made her motion picture debut the following year by playing identical twins in Disney's 1998 remake of "The Parent Trap." Earlier this year, she placed at #1 on the Maxim "Hot 100."
"It is indeed an honor to have Lindsay Lohan at Capri, Hollywood," said festival producer Pascal Vicedomini. "We are delighted to recognize her talent as a performing artist, as well as her position as an icon in the world of entertainment."
